I was asked by a friend, “if money was no object, which watch would you buy today”? after thinking hard and long, I said to myself it would have to be a men’s dive watch and the particular dive watch would be the new Omega Aqua terra 150m.
I don’t know about you, but the first thing I tend to be drawn to in a watch is its dial.
The Seamaster dial, to me, is simply beautiful. The dial has feint horizontal lines running across them, there are a choice of silver, black, blue or brown dials. The date window has been moved back to the original 6 o’clock position, as opposed to the regular 3 o’clock position, which is a nice aesthetic touch. We see the Dauphine style hands remain.
The new Seamaster case has a sapphire crystal display caseback and through this you can see the new 8900,8901 or 8800 master chronometer movements.
There are a choice of diverse selection of bracelets and straps, including steel, leather and structured rubber.
Here are the specs: approved by the Swiss Federal Institute of Metrology, put our COSC-certified chronometer calibres
